What did I do to save and cut costs for November?

What did I do to save and cut costs for November?  Unfortunately not much.

 

-bad. I did not post anything to sell on my job’s bulletin board or on ebay.  I’ll make up for that in December

-bad: I bought several items on impulse at Amazon and Radio Shack.

-good: Increased my life insurance by $250,000, so that both my house and my mom’s house will be paid off in case something happens to me.  $23/month

-good: took an accident and prevention driving course and got a discount of $80/year on car insurance.

-neutral: downgraded netflix from $17/month to $5/month, since I impulsively bought Tivo and that’s approx. $12/month.
